Draftable, Account Executive, EMEA (London based)
About Draftable
Draftable is building the next generation of document drafting tools for lawyers.
Since launching our first legal product in 2023, over 1,300 law firms and legal teams globally have adopted our product. We're growing ARR significantly year-on-year, with very high win rates against incumbents and negligible churn. Our flagship document comparison product already outperforms competitor tools, and our new metadata cleaning product is being adopted rapidly. And that’s just the foundation for a broader product suite we're actively building!
Our ambition is to become the leading provider of document drafting solutions for lawyers, and the most loved software in a lawyer's toolkit. We're part of the Affinda Group, a privately funded global AI company based in Melbourne, Australia, that has held a long-term presence in the EMEA market.
Why now
Legal drafting technology is going through a generational shift. Firms are moving away from aging, bundled platforms in favour of modern alternatives, and we’re winning those head-to-head evaluations across regions.
If you like selling a challenger product with a clear story and strong win rates, this is an ideal moment to join.
The role
Reporting to the Director of Sales, EMEA, we're looking for a UK / European based Account Executive to join our EMEA team. You will be responsible for a defined territory, sitting in a team with strong European leadership, supported by EMEA based Customer Success Manager, Customer Support Manager and Market Development Coordinator.
This is a role for a self-sufficient seller: someone with a genuine outbound hunter mentality, who can generate their own high value leads, run their own demos and close their own deals – treating internal support as a strategic resource rather than a daily dependency. You’ll have autonomy, uncapped earnings, and an existing product set that customers genuinely love, and an exciting imminent new product roadmap that will unlock higher value opportunities.
What makes this role compelling
Full autonomy: Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close, strategically leveraging product and engineering support for complex requirements.
Uncapped earnings: Your success directly determines your compensation, with meaningful upside for high performers.
Real traction: Join a product customers are actively switching to, with best-in-class win rates and retention.
Opportunity: Work in a lean, high-growth environment where you can make a direct impact without corporate bureaucracy.
You will:
Work closely with our regional sales leader and develop your own territory plan
Run full-cycle sales: prospecting through to close, including discovery, tailored demos, negotiation, and contracting
Convert inbound leads while building robust pipeline coverage through targeted outbound campaigns, leveraging data driven prospecting and sales enablement tools
Work with a modern tech stack to support the sales process, including Hubspot, Gong, Apollo and internally generated AI agents
Learn the product deeply enough to demo confidently without leaning on pre-sales support
Represent Draftable at industry events and conferences
What you'll bring
Essential:
A hunter mentality, and a passion for thinking outside the box to make things happen
Minimum of 5 years in B2B software sales with full-cycle experience (prospecting through to close) from a challenger brand
Proven quota attainment in a small, high growth company (10-100 people)
Operating autonomously without reliance on heavy sales support infrastructure
Experience selling into regulated or complex industries (fintech, govtech, risk/compliance, legaltech etc)
Sufficient technical aptitude to run product demos independently
Self-starter and to thrive working remotely without needing an office environment
Solid written and verbal communication, with consistent follow through
Nice to have:
Experience selling into law firms or complex professional services organisations
Existing relationships with decision makers in UK / European law firms
Fluency in one or more European languages.
Familiarity with our tech stack (Hubspot, Gong, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo)
Who this won’t suit:
Background from large enterprise software companies with heavy reliance on sales engineers and support teams
Anyone who needs significant structure, process or hand holding to be effective
Compensation & location
Compensation:
Final package is negotiable based on skills and experience
- Uncapped commission with accelerators above quota
Location:
Open to exceptional candidates within Europe.
Fully remote with flexible working arrangements
Occasional travel for customer meetings, industry events and conferences
